My Story
I'm Karen, a languages tutor specialising in French, German and Latin. I studied German at Oxford Brookes University and completed a postgraduate diploma in French and German at the University of the West of England in Bristol. I have also studied at the University of Giessen while living abroad in Germany.
I have taught languages for over 18 years across Suffolk and online to students living abroad. Currently I run my own private language classes in French, German and Latin, both in person and online.
I have worked in further education at Suffolk New College teaching French to adults as part of their Leisure Learning programme. I have experience in teaching languages in both primary and secondary education, including working as a modern foreign languages (MFL) tutor which involved helping pupils to prepare for GCSE French and German examinations.
I have also tutored pupils privately for GCSE examinations and private school entrance examinations.
